We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Stage (FS) Teacher to join our vibrant team at the Al Danah branch
Job Title: FS Teacher (Part time) Department: Academic Grade/Cycle: KG (Foundation Stage) Branch: Al Danah --- Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant subject area from a recognized university
A recognized Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for UK-trained teachers, or an equivalent teaching qualification enabling practice in the home country
Valid teaching license/certification from your country of origin
First Aid certification relevant to early years is desirable
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in the Foundation Stage (Nursery, KG1, KG2)
Demonstrable experience teaching the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Proven ability to create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment for young children
Experience in an international school setting is highly preferred
Skills Required: Technical Skills: Expertise in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
Strong understanding and implementation of effective classroom management techniques tailored for early years
Proficiency in integrating age-appropriate educational technology to enhance learning experiences
Ability to conduct formative and summative assessments relevant to EYFS and track student progress effectively
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
High degree of cultural awareness, sensitivity, and adaptability in a diverse international community
Creativity, patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
Strong organizational skills and efficient time management abilities
A proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to continuous improvement
Knowledge of Specific Curriculum: Comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, including its principles and practical implementation across all areas of learning and development
Familiarity with the transition and progression into Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum for England
Ability to develop and deliver a play-based, child-initiated curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs and styles
UAE-Specific Requirements: Willingness to undergo and obtain full ADEK (Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge) approval and teaching license
Adherence to all ADEK regulations, policies, and educational standards governing private schools in Abu Dhabi
Successful completion of all pre-employment checks, including a police clearance certificate/Good Conduct Certificate from all countries of residence for the past 5 years
Understanding of and respect for the local culture, customs, and traditions of the UAE.
