We are looking for an inspiring educator committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment that aligns with American educational standards
--- Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a directly related field from an accredited university
A Master's degree in a relevant educational field is highly advantageous
Certification: Valid, active, and internationally recognized teaching license or certification from a recognized state/country
A US teaching license is strongly preferred
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time, post-qualification teaching experience as a Homeroom Teacher specifically within a Kindergarten or Early Years setting
Demonstrated and recent experience delivering the American curriculum (Common Core State Standards / US standards) in a reputable school environment
Previous experience working in an international school setting is highly desirable
Skills Required: Pedagogical Excellence: Exceptional classroom management abilities, strong command of differentiated instruction strategies, and proficiency in designing and implementing age-appropriate formative and summative assessments for early learners
Technological Proficiency: Competence in utilizing educational technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, Learning Management Systems, G-Suite for Education, Microsoft 365) to enhance learning and engagement
Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds
Collaboration & Teamwork: A proactive team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in school-wide initiatives
Personal Attributes: Demonstrates patience, creativity, adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education and the holistic development of young children
Curriculum Knowledge: In-depth understanding and proven ability to effectively plan, deliver, and assess the American curriculum, with specific expertise in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Kindergarten/Early Childhood Education
Familiarity with US-based assessment tools, benchmarks, and reporting methodologies relevant to early years education
Proficiency in creating engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that align with US learning objectives and foster critical thinking skills from an early age
UAE-Specific Requirements: Ability to successfully meet all teacher licensing and approval criteria set forth by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK)
Familiarity with ADEK inspection frameworks, educational policies, and guidelines applicable to private schools in Abu Dhabi
Compliance with all UAE visa regulations and successful completion of necessary background checks (including police clearance from home country and UAE)
Understanding and respect for local Emirati culture, traditions, and the ability to integrate culturally relevant aspects into the classroom environment where appropriate.
