We are seeking dedicated and passionate Primary Teachers to join our Al Danah team, specializing in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1)
Position Summary: We are looking for an inspiring Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality education within our Kindergarten and Cycle 1 phases, adhering strictly to the British curriculum standards

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university
OR a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject combined with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the UK
Valid teaching license/certification from your country of origin
Specialization or significant experience in Early Years education is highly desirable for KG roles

Required Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of recent, full-time teaching experience in a British curriculum school (e.g., UK, or an international British school)
Demonstrable experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or Key Stage 1 (KS1) of the National Curriculum for England (i.e., KG, Reception, Year 1, or Year 2)
Experience with structured phonics programs (e.g., Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics) is essential
Proven ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for young children

Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern educational technology and learning platforms (e.g., interactive whiteboards, Google Classroom, SeeSaw)
Strong pedagogical skills aligned with British primary education best practices, including assessment for learning
Data analysis capabilities to monitor and track student progress effectively
Excellent classroom management and behaviour guidance techniques appropriate for early years and primary
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to continuous professional development
Creativity, enthusiasm, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning
Outstanding organizational, planning, and time management abilities
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
High degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity

Curriculum Expertise: In-depth understanding and practical experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Key Stage 1 (KS1) of the National Curriculum for England
Comprehensive knowledge of British curriculum assessment methods and reporting procedures for primary education
Expertise in developing early literacy and numeracy skills as prescribed by the National Curriculum for England

UAE-Specific Requirements: Ability to successfully obtain ADEK (Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge) teacher licensing and approvals
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in accordance with UAE regulations and international best practice
Successful completion of all mandatory background checks and police clearance as per UAE legal requirements
Understanding and respect for UAE cultural norms and sensitivities.
