Job Title: Business Teacher (Cycle 2 & 3) Department: Academic Branch: Khalifa City Job Purpose: ICS Khalifa City is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Teacher to join our dynamic academic team
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality instruction in Business subjects to students in Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 (Grades 6-12), fostering a deep understanding of business principles, economics, and entrepreneurship within an American curriculum framework
--- Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Education, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a closely related field from an accredited university
A valid teaching license or certification in Business Education is essential
Master's Degree in Education or a relevant business discipline is highly preferred
--- Experience Requirements: A minimum of three (4) years of full-time, post-qualification teaching experience in Business or related subjects at the middle and/or high school levels (Grades 6-12), strictly following the American curriculum
Demonstrated experience in teaching a range of Business subjects, which may include Economics, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Marketing, Business Management, and Personal Finance
Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
Experience in an international school setting is advantageous

--- Curriculum Knowledge: In-depth understanding and extensive experience teaching the American curriculum framework, including alignment with Common Core State Standards (where applicable to business-related math/literacy) and US National Business Education Standards
Familiarity with current best practices in American Business Education and an ability to prepare students for US college readiness
Proven ability to design and implement lesson plans, assessments, and activities that adhere strictly to American educational standards
--- UAE-Specific Requirements: Eligibility for and commitment to obtaining an ADEK Professional License, which includes successful completion of all required assessments and degree equivalency procedures
Willingness to undergo all necessary government attestation for educational qualifications as per UAE Ministry of Education guidelines
Ability to secure a UAE residency visa with the school's sponsorship
Successful completion of a UAE Good Conduct Certificate and all mandatory background checks
Adherence to all ADEK (Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge) policies, regulations, and guidelines for private schools
Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to local customs, traditions, and values prevalent in the UAE.
